Well. Shall I tell about the person who was thrown form a bull? Or the two who had their horses spook in a thunder shower and toss them off? Or the ocean kayak adventures? Perhaps not. No broken bones involved so no harm done. The same cannot be said of recent political developments in Nicaragua which we are not hearing about in the US. Last week, taking a page from the President of Venezuela, Ortega sanctioned through the back door a takeover of a US oil refinery. This is not a good thing. He has four years of a five year term to go. More in due course. Monday we get to be participants in a parade in out of the coastal communities. I shall wear my Kentwood shirt. Since they will likely not know where Kentwood is I will likely avoid booing by the antiAmrrican crowd.
